Salaries, Allowances and other amenities Of Hon'ble Speaker / Hon'ble Dy. Speaker / Ministers / Chief Whip / Leader of Opposition (w.e.f. 14-02-2023)

1. Salary Rs. 60,000/- per month
2. Constituency Allowance Rs. 30,000/- per month
3. Secretarial Assistance A sum of Rs. 25000/- per month as secretarial assistance.
4. Sumptuary Allowance Rs. 10,000/- per month
  Total Rs. 1,25,000/- per month
5. Conveyance Free use of a Motor Car with services of a Chauffeur and Petrol for the Car up to a maximum of 700 per month. In case of use of his/her own Motor Car is opted will be entitled to conveyance Allowance of Rs. 10,000/- per month.
6. DailyAllowance Rs. 1,500/- per day during the whole of his/her term.
7. One Time Allowance A sum of Rs. 1,00,000 shall be paid as one time Allowance for purchase of Laptop, personal computer, printer, mobile handset, etc. for each term of office as a Member.
8. Conveyance Advance Conveyance Advance up to Rs. 12,00,000/- for purchase of conveyance to be repayable within his/her term as a Member. The rate of interest for conveyance advance and the mode of recovery thereon shall be such as may be determined by the Government, with the prior approval of the President.
9. Medical Facilities Free medical treatment and/or reimbursement and free accommodation in all hospitals run by the Government and all other panel or referral hospitals empanelled or declared as such by the government in accordance with the Medical Attendance Rules and the DGEHS as amended from time to time on priority basis as available to Group –A officers of the highest grade of the Government, provided that a compulsory monthly contribution shall be levied from every MLA at the same rate as would be payable by a Group-A officer of the highest grade of the Government which shall be recoverable from the monthly salary bill of the Minister.
10. Pension Same as applicable to Ex-MLAs.
11. Family Pension Same as applicable to Ex-MLAs.
12. Residence Facility Rent free furnished residence of Rs. 20,000/- p.m. or ratable value of his/her own house or the rent paid by his/her whichever is the least.
13. Travelling Facilities Reimbursement of actual expenditure annually up to a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000 on travel within India for self and members of the family.
14. Reimbursement of Electricity charges at residences Chief Minister - maximum up to 5000 electric units consumed per month. Ministers - maximum up to 3000 electric units consumed per month.
15. Reimbursement of Data Entry Operator Salary Rs. 30,000/- per month (Reimbursable for two Data Entry Operators @ Rs. 15,000/- p.m. to each).


Salaries, Allowances and other amenities to M.L.A.(s) (w.e.f. 14-02-2023)

1. Salary Rs. 30,000/- per month
2. Constituency Allowance Rs. 25,000/- per month
3. Secretarial Assistance Rs. 15,000/- per month
4. ConveyanceAllowance Rs. 10,000/- per month
5. Telephone Facilities Rs. 10,000/- per month
  Total Rs. 90,000/- per month
6. DailyAllowance Rs. 1,500/- per day (subject to a maximum up to 40 days per year) for attending Assembly session/committee meetings etc.
7. One Time Allowance A sum of Rs. 1,00,000 shall be paid as one time Allowance for purchase of Laptop, personal computer, printer, mobile handset, etc. for each term of office.
8. Conveyance Advance Up to Rs. 8,00,000/- (repayable within his officer term)
9. 10. Pension Every ex-Member who has served as Member either of the Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi or Member of the erstwhile Metropolitan Council of Delhi or of the erstwhile Delhi State Legislative Assembly as the case may be, shall be entitled for pension of Rs. 15,000/-p.m. for the first term of his membership and an additional pension of Rs. 1,000/- p.m. for every successive year of his membership beyond the first term.
11. Family Pension After the death of a member during his term of office or an Ex-Member (including Ex-Member of erstwhile Metropolitan Council of Delhi and Ex-Member of erstwhile Delhi State Legislative Assembly), pension shall be payable to the surviving spouse during the remaining period of life of such spouse until he/she does not remarry and after his/her death to his/her dependent children so long as such dependent continues to be a dependent, provided that family pension shall be equivalent to one-half of the pension which such Ex-member would have received has he retired. Provided that no such family pension shall be payable to a dependent if such dependent is a sitting member or is drawing pension under section 9.
12. Elect. & Water Facility Reimbursement of the monthly electricity and water consumption charges subject to a maximum of Rs. 4,000/- p.m.
13. Travelling Facilities Reimbursement of actual expenditure annually up to a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000 on travel within India for self and members of the family.
14. Reimbursement of Data Entry Operator Salary Rs. 30,000/- per month (Reimbursable for two Data Entry Operators @ Rs. 15,000/- p.m. to each).

1. Salary Rs. 20,000/- per month
2. Constituency Allowance Rs. 18,000/- per month
3. Sumptuary Allowance Rs. 4,000/- per month
4. DailyAllowance Rs. 1,000/- per day during the whole of his/her term.
5. Reimbursement of Electricity charges at residences Maximum upto 3000 electric units consumed per month.
6. Traveling Facilities Reimbursement of actual expenditure annually upto a maximum of Rs. 50,000 on travel withinIndiafor self and members of the family.
7. Residence Facility Rent free furnished residence of Rs. 20,000/- p.m. or ratable value of his/her own house or the rent or the Rent paid by his/her whichever is the least.
8. Conveyance Free use of a Motor Car with services of a Chauffeur and petrol for the car upto a maximum of 700 ltrs. Per month. In case of use of his own motor car is opted, will be entitled to conveyance allowance of Rs. 2,000/- per month.

11. Reimbursement of Home Orderly salary For two home orderlies at the prescribed minimum rates applicable for unskilled category as notified by the Labour Department, Delhi, from time to time


Salaries, Allowances And Other Amenities To M.L.A.(s) (w.e.f.04-11-2011)

1. Salary Rs. 12,000/- per mensem
2. Constituency Allowance Rs. 18,000/- per mensem
3. Secretarial Allowance Rs. 10,000/- per month
4. Conveyance Allowance Rs. 6,000/- per month
5. Telephone Facilities Rs. 8,000/- per month to meet the cost of telephone call charges
6. Daily Allowance Rs. 1,000/- per day (subject to a maximum up to 40 days per year) for attending Assembly session/committee meetings etc.
7. Conveyance Advance Upto Rs. 4,00,000/- (repayable within his office term)

Similar facilities are also available to Ex-MLAs and Ex-Metropolitan Councillors.
9. Pension Every ex-Member who has served as Member either of the Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi or Member of the erstwhile Metropolitan Council of Delhi or of the erstwhile Delhi State Legislative Assembly as the case may be, shall be entitled for pension of Rs. 7,500/-p.m. for the first term of his membership and an additional pension of Rs. 1,000/- p.m for every successive year of his membership beyond the first term.

Salaries, Allowances, and other Amenities to M.L.A.(s) (w.e.f.09-02-2007)

1. Salary Rs. 6,000/- per mensem
2. Constituency Allowance Rs. 8,000/- per mensem
3. Daily Allowance Rs. 500/- for each day on which a Member attends a meeting of the Legislative Assembly or a Committee there of or when they are engagedin any other business connected with their duties as a Member.
4. Conveyance Allowance Rs. 4,000/- per mensem
5. Secretariat Allowance Rs. 10,000/- per mensem
6. Telephone Allowance Rs. 4,000/- per mensem
7. ELECT. & Water Charges Rs. 2,000/- per month for the residence (Reimbursement) (Maximum limit)
8. Traveling Allowance As applicable to Group ‘A’ officers of the highest grade of the Govt. when the journey is performed by a Member to a place outsideDelhior any business connected with his duties as a Member.
9. Medical facilities Member and members of his family are entitled free of charge accommodation in hospital maintained by Govt. and also medical treatment as applicable to Group ‘A’ officers of the highest grade of the Govt. in accordance with the Medical Attendance Rules and Delhi govt. Health Scheme as amended from time to time.
10. Pension From two years but less then four years Rs. 1,500/- p.m. From four years but less then five years Rs. 3,000/-p.m. From five years in aggregates Rs.5,000/-p.m. From period exceeding five years, there shall be paid to a Member an addition pension of Rs. 500/-p.m. (Subject to max. of10,000/- for every completed year beyond five years.
11. Conveyance Advance Advance up to Rs. 4 lakh for purchase of a conveyance at rates of interest to be fixed by the Govt.
12. Traveling facilities A Member shall be entitled of actual expenditure annually up to maximum of thirty five thousand rupees on travel withinIndiafor self and members of the family.
13. Data Entry Operator Allowance Rs. 25,000/- per mensem (Reimbursable) w.e.f. December, 2010


Salary & Allowances of Minister/Speaker/Dy. Speaker of the NCT ofDelhi
(w.e.f. 1.03.2002 and of Leader of Opposition w.e.f. 1.4.2002 )

1. Salary Rupees 4,000/- per mensem
2. Constituency Allowance Rupees 6,000/- per mensem
3. Sumptuary Allowance Chief Minister-Rs. 4,000/- per mensemMinister, Speaker, Deputy Speaker andLeader of Opposition Rs.2000/- P.M.
4. Daily Allowance Rupees 400/- for each day for whole of the term.
5. Conveyance(Fuel for Govt. car) 700 litres per month
6. Reimbursement of water andelectricity Rupees 5,000/- per mensem
7. Residence facility Rent free furnished residence orRs. 10,000/- per mensem or rateablevalue of his own house or the rent paid by him whichever is the least in.
8. Telephone facilities Two telephones each at the office andresidence with STD facilities in the telephones at the office and one outof the two telephones at the residence and to full reimbursement on telephone charges for the office telephones and on call charges up to fifty thousand calls per year (including charges on STD calls) covering both the telephones at the residence.
9. Medical facilities Each and the members of his family are entitled free of charge to accommodation in hospitals maintained by Govt. and also medical treatment as applicable to Group `A`Officers of the highest grade of the Govt. in accordance with the Medical Attendance rules asamended from time to time.
10. Traveling facilities Each shall be entitled to the reimbursement of actual expenditureup to a maximum of thirty five thousand rupees on travel within India for self and members of the family.


SALARY, ALLOWANCES AND OTHER AMENITIES TO M.L.A (S) W.E.F. 01.03.2002

1. Salary Rupees 3,000/- per mensem
2. Constituency Allowance Rupees 6,000/- per mensem
3. Daily Allowance Rs.400/- for each day on which a Member attends a meeting of the Legislative Assembly or a Committee there of or when they are engaged in any other business connected with their duties as a Member
4. Conveyance Allowance Rs. 500 per mensem
5. Secretarial Allowance Rs. 7,000 /- per mensem
6. Telephone facilities A Member is entitled to the installation at Govt. cost of one telephone (without STD facility) with in Delhi at his residence or the place where he ordinarily conducts his work relating to Legislative Assembly and to the reimbursement of full rental thereof and up to 2000 free local calls per month made there from.
7. Travelling Allowance As applicable to Group ‘A’ officers of the highest grade of the Govt. when the journey is performed by a Member to a place outside Delhi or any business connected with his duties as a Member.
8. Medical facilities Member and members of his family are entitled free of charge to accommodation in hospitals maintained by Govt. and also medical treatment as applicable to Group ‘A’ officers of the highest grade of the Govt. in accordance with the Medical Attendance Rules as amended from time to time.
9. Conveyance Advance Advance up to Rs. 1 lakh for purchase of a conveyance at rates of interest to be fixed by the Govt.

Salaries, Allowances Of MLAs Of The NCT OfDelhi (w.e.f.20-07-1998)

1. Salary Rs. 2,000/- per mensem
2. Constituency Allowance Rs. 2,000/- per mensem
3. Daily Allowance Rs. 225/-for each day on which a member attends a meeting of the Legislative Assembly or a committee thereof or when they are engaged in any other business connected with his duties as a Member.
4. Conveyance Allowance Rs. 500/- per mensem
5. Secretariat Allowance R. 5,500/- per mensem
6. Telephone facilities A member is entitled to the installation at Govt. cost of one telephone (without STD facility) within Delhi at his residence or the place where ordinarily conducts his work relating to Legislative Assembly and to the reimbursement of full rental thereof and 1300 free local calls (bimonthly) made there from as admissible to Group ‘A’ officers of the Govt.
7. Traveling Allowance As per applicable to Group ‘A’ officers of the Govt. when the journey is performed by a Member to a place outside Delhion any business connected with his duties as Member.
8. Medical Facilities Member and members of his family entitled free of charge to accommodation in hospitals maintained by Govt. and also medical treatment as applicable to Group ‘A’ Officers of the highest grade of the Govt. in accordance with the Medical Attendance Rules as amended from time to time.
9. Pension Rs. 300/- per mensem on completion of 4 years continuously or in part of term of 5 years. Additional Rs. 75/- per mensem for every year in excess of 5 years. Maximum Rs. 750/- per mensem.
10. Conveyance Advance Advance upto Rs. 1 lakh for purchase of a conveyance at rates of interest to be fixed by the Govt.


Salaries, Allowances Of MLAs Of The NCT Of Delhi (w.e.f.01-12-1993)

1. Salary Rs. 1,000/- per mensem
2. Constituency Allowance Rs. 500/- per mensem
3. Daily Allowance Rs. 100/-for each day on which a member attends a meeting of the Legislative Assembly or a committee thereof or when they are engaged in any other business connected with his duties as a Member.
4. Conveyance Allowance Rs. 150/- per mensem
5. Secretariat Allowance R. 1,000/- per mensem
6. Telephone Facility 500 calls reimbursement of full rentals andlocal calls as admissible to group ‘A’ officers of the Govt. (650 free calls bimonthly)
7. Travelling Allowance As applicable to Group ‘A’ officers of the Govt. when the journey is performed by a Member to a place outsideDelhion any business connected with his duties as a Member.
8. Medical Facilities Member and members of his family entitled free of charge to accommodation in hospitals maintained by Govt. and also medical treatment as applicable to Group ‘A’ Officers of the highest grade of the Govt. in accordance with the Medical Attendance Rules as amended from time to time.
9. Pension Rs. 300/- per mensem on completion of 4 years continuously or in part of term of 5 years. Additional Rs. 75/- per mensem for every year in excess of 5 years. Maximum Rs. 750/- per mensem.
10. Conveyance Advance Advance upto Rs.50,000/-0 for purchase of a conveyance at rates of interest to be fixed by the Govt.
