“This House resolves that to ensure adequate water for our future generations, water harvesting and water conservation policies should be strictly enforced.”

“This Assembly reiterates the Motion adopted by this House on 11th September 2002 to grant statehood to Delhi. The House expresses its deep concern over the delay in the grant of statehood to the people of Delhi. In order to provide more effective administration and to save the people from multiplicity of authority causing delays and harassment to citizens the proposal for grant of Delhi’s Statehood be finalized at the earliest.”

“This House resolves that necessary legislation be enacted by the Parliament of India to protect the dignity of women, empower them and save them from sexual exploitation. It further resolves that through this legislation an end should be put to attempts being made to project them as objects of desire in the publications, electronic media and advertisements.”

“This House resolves that the Delhi Development Authority be brought under the control of the Government of Delhi and a separate Housing Board also be constituted under Government of Delhi.”

“This House resolves that a separate ‘Delhi Board of Secondary Education’ as in other states be constituted for the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the examinations for the year 2003-2004 be conducted by this Board.”

“This House resolves that in accordance with the need and availability of land, mini sewer treatment plants be installed on all major drains.”

“This House resolves that in order to give effect to their constitutional rights all children up to the age of 14 years should be provided free and compulsory education.”

“This House resolves that keeping in view the ensuing rainy season, provision be made to spend money from MLA Fund for the purpose of draining out the rainy and dirty water from all the unauthorised colonies of the Capital.”

“This House resolves that out of the three representative Directors of Delhi Government in Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, at least one Director may be a member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly to be nominated by the Speaker.”

“This House resolves that registration of all marriages be made compulsory with a view to empowering women, according them proper respect in society and protecting their exploitation.”

“This House resolves that with a view to ensure free and fair poll, the next Assembly election in Delhi may be held on the basis of photo-identity card so that malpractices and irregularities in the pollprocess are done away with and the process of preparation of identity card can be completed within a year.”

“This House resolves that ramps etc. be constructed in all Offices and building of Delhi Government so that the disabled persons do not face any difficulty while visiting these places for redressal of their grievances.”

“This House resolves that as and when the Government allots alternative plots to the poor people residing in Jhuggi Jhopris, it should be ensured that basic facilities and civic amenities such as drinking water, roads, hospitals, toilets and rainage system are made available to them in advance."

“This House resolves that before privatisation of the distribution system of Delhi Vidyut Board the total cost evaluation of the system and land etc should be on the basis of its existing value.”

“This House strongly condemns the attempt made to distort the history of the country and resolves to support the implementation of secular education policy based on the provision of our Constitution.
This House also recommends that at Page 328 of 11th class NCERT curriculum Book ‘Madhyakalin Bharat’ under the heading ‘Sikh’, appropriate amendment may be made and objectionable portions about Shri Teg Bahadur Ji be removed.
This House also recommends that books authored by individual writers containing objectionable comments about various religions including book titled ‘Ancient India’ be proscribed forthwith.”

“This House resolves that comprehensive status report in respect of all the resolutions passed by the Second Legislative Assembly right from its inception be laid on the Table of the House for information of Hon’ble Members.”

“This House resolves that in deference to the feelings of lakhs of people hailing from Bihar and Eastern UP; a Bhojpuri-Maithili Academy be constituted in Delhi.”

“This House resolves that steps be taken at war footing to ensure compliance of all cleanliness norms by the dairy owners in the residential areas of Delhi and to prevent the explosion and blockage of main sewers all over the city. The mechanism of catching the stray cattles creating nuisance on Delhi Roads and streets be also strengthened.”

“This House demands that 33% reservation be extended to women of Delhi domicile on posts under Govt of Delhi and other autonomous and local bodies by enacting suitable legislation.”

“This House demands from Govt. of India that suitable amendments be made in Article 239AA of the Constitution of India with a view to lift the embargo on the number of Ministers in the Govt. of NCT of Delhi thus bring Delhi at par with other State.”
