“This Assembly reiterates the Motion adopted by this House on 11th September 2002 to grant statehood to Delhi. The House expresses its deep concern over the delay in the grant of statehood to the people of Delhi. In order to provide more effective administration and to save the people from multiplicity of authority causing delays and harassment to citizens the proposal for grant of Delhi’s Statehood be finalized at the earliest.”

“This House resolves that necessary legislation be enacted by the Parliament of India to protect the dignity of women, empower them and save them from sexual exploitation. It further resolves that through this legislation an end should be put to attempts being made to project them as objects of desire in the publications, electronic media and advertisements.”

“This House resolves that the Delhi Development Authority be brought under the control of the Government of Delhi and a separate Housing Board also be constituted under Government of Delhi.”

“This House resolves that a separate ‘Delhi Board of Secondary Education’ as in other states be constituted for the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the examinations for the year 2003-2004 be conducted by this Board.”

“This House resolves that registration of all marriages be made compulsory with a view to empowering women, according them proper respect in society and protecting their exploitation.”

“This House resolves that with a view to ensure free and fair poll, the next Assembly election in Delhi may be held on the basis of photo-identity card so that malpractices and irregularities in the pollprocess are done away with and the process of preparation of identity card can be completed within a year.”

“This House strongly condemns the attempt made to distort the history of the country and resolves to support the implementation of secular education policy based on the provision of our Constitution.
This House also recommends that at Page 328 of 11th class NCERT curriculum Book ‘Madhyakalin Bharat’ under the heading ‘Sikh’, appropriate amendment may be made and objectionable portions about Shri Teg Bahadur Ji be removed.
This House also recommends that books authored by individual writers containing objectionable comments about various religions including book titled ‘Ancient India’ be proscribed forthwith.”
